Festival season is upon us and it's been a wet one. My favourite annual music festival took place in my hometown (Guelph) this past weekend. The majority of my wordrobe is ruined, my body is covered in bleeding and swollen mosquito bites HOWEVER; I was able to catch some truly heart stopping performances.

Highlights; Green Go forced me to dance through a hangover, Julie Doiron distracted me from itching myself to a bloody death, Timber Timbre gave me nightmares and finally Final Fantasy almost made me urinate all over myself.

Something about your mother

So, my two crushes have finally joined forces and I don't even think I could listen past the first single. Jack White (y'know) and Alison Mosshart (ze' kills) have just released their first single as Dead Weather. At least the video is nice to look at, until White exits into the sunset. Come on.

23 days since my last pack

Running through China Town, drinking so many ceasers that I'm begining to carry a permanent scent of clam, dry heaves over men reading magazines is all I have to say for my summer so far.

As a result of being out of school for over a month (& the humidity) I don't have much to say.
